Refugee Integration Program

Building New Lives

Trinity’s Refugee Integration Program is one of the largest immigrant integration programs in Androscoggin County. Any immigrant in need is welcome. Most participants are refugees and asylum-seekers from Somalia, Djibouti, Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Burundi, and other countries asking for help as they build a new life for their families.

The most common request is for help with writing a resume, searching for job openings, and completing applications. Other work includes assistance completing housing applications, petitioning for adjustments to immigration status, and completing childcare, unemployment, and other paperwork. Services are available in English, Somali, and French and there is no enrollment process.
