Year-round shelter for the homeless
The Center offers space for the homeless to come indoors, use the bathroom, fill water bottles, charge their phone, and rest. People who are staying in overnight shelters that close during the day, people sleeping in stairwells, people who are outdoors all night are welcome to warm up and get connected with services through Trinity’s other programs. This program is a lifeline for many people especially during Maine’s bitterly cold winters.
Masks are required and provided and a daily health screening is done before entry. Homeless patrons can utilize the Day Shelter 7:30-3 Monday-Saturday.
