Help keep our neighbors warm

Maine winters are long and brutally cold. The Center’s Day Shelter provides warmth, safety, and hope to those with nowhere else to turn, as blizzards hit our city. Warm coats, hats, boots, gloves, and socks are distributed and outreach workers are on hand to help the homeless secure housing, jobs, mental health services, and other assistance. These services are offered year-round, yet are critical during the winter months.

This help is desperately needed yet comes at a high cost: the Center’s heating bills soar in the winter and we are headed for another bitterly cold winter this year. Please consider making a donation today and providing shelter for homeless men, women, and children in Lewiston-Auburn.
